Antigua Charter Yacht Show

This month, Port Denia attended the annual Antigua Yacht Charter Show down in the Caribbean, once again demonstrating our commitment to marketing our shipyard and marina services to superyacht Captains and industry partners wherever they are in the world. It was a positive Show for all involved with nearly 90 superyachts available for viewing and all the leading industry partners present. The emphasis of the Show is to present the superyachts for winter charter in the Caribbean but for us it is also an excellent opportunity to meet Captains and crew directly, learn about their plans for the upcoming Mediterranean season and offer our superyacht services to fit in with their itineries. A special mention and thanks to 60m St.David and West Nautical whose kind hospitality was exceptional as was that of the mighty 90m Lauren L and Titan Brokerage. Great to coordinate again with Ocean Independance regarding Balearic charters and Viking Recruitment. After 5 days of meetings, presentations and evening events onboard illustrious superyachts, our team felt satisfied that our message of sensibly priced, quality superyacht services in an ideal location is spreading nicely throughout the industry. Please contact richard@portdenia.com should you have any projects to propose or wish to request a quote for the shipyard or marina moorings.

S/Y PAZ | 43m Perini Navi

S/Y Paz has returned to Port Denia shipyard for a range of refit work. At 43m in length, S/Y Paz is a vintage sailing superyacht built by the Perini Navi Group in 1987. The returning Paz's last refit was 6 years ago here in Port Denia, so her return to our shipyard demonstrates her owner's satisfaction with our services. She will undergo similar work to that of 6 years ago which includes painting of the hull and superstructure (Awlgrip), maintenance of the shaft and rudders, maintenance of the main engine and generators, the removal and stripping down of the 45 tonne centreboard and the full maintenance of the main mast and rigging.

€1 Million redevelopment of Denia promenade

Port Denia's €1 million (approx) redevopment of the Denia port promenade is continuing according to plan and work should be finished by late January/ early February. Measuring 800 metres in length and including 10,000 m2 of port space, the ambitious project is proceeding well, a continuation of the whole Port's redevelopment. With our superyacht berths just 50m from the town centre, this demonstrates our continued long term comitment to invest in the town's infrastructure and to improve the services available to the Town, visiting tourists and superyachts.
